D-Day Concert Series
Music Celebrations International is proud to organize the D-Day Concert Series in France to commemorate the Anniversary of D-Day annually on June 6. We invite all ensembles to learn more about these opportunities to honor those who selflessly sacrificed so much on June 6, 1944.
About the D-Day Concert Series
On June 6, 1944, the greatest military invasion in history commenced on the northwestern shores of France – the Allied Invasion and Liberation of France from Nazi Germany during World War II. Now known as D-Day, this event marked the beginning of the end of Adolf Hitler’s oppressive regime.
In 2019, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of this epic event, Music Celebrations International established a series of enormously successful musical performances in Paris, Normandy, and Washington, D.C. to memorialize the men and women who served, fought, and gave their lives during that pivotal moment in human history.
In the wake of the 75th and 80th anniversary events, an increased demand for further musical commemorations led to an established set of annual concerts conceived to continue remembering these heroes through music – and to celebrate the many freedoms enjoyed by the world today.
